Dear friends of Stephen,
I hoped I would never have to write this post.
I prayed that I would never have to write this post.
But sometimes, the Lord makes other plans.
It is my sad duty to let you know that our dear friend Stephen went home to the Lord last night. Please keep Rosemary, his family and all of his friends in your prayers as we mourn the passing of a good man.
I regret I have no other information at this time, but I’m sure there will be some in the following days.
Regretfully,
Karen Churchill Garcia

My son, Jacob, worked with Stephen. I did not know him personally, but I knew his story and knew of him through his work family. I am very sadden to hear of this loss and my heart breaks in a million pieces for his wife and family. I hear he was a great person and there just doesn’t seem to be enough of those types of people left here on earth. I pray for his wife and family to find strength and support through his love, memories and the happy times. All my best and all my prayers, Christyne Mills
Stephen- the depth of our sadness cannot be described in words. We miss you, but know that we will see you again.
Dear Rosemary and Mr. And Mrs. Shirley,
I cannot express the sadness I feel regarding Stephen. My most heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. It was an honor taking care of Stephen. In one of his post, Stephen said he wanted to do something amazing and touch peoples lives. Well, I want you to know he did. He touched me in a way no other patient has ever done before. You all did. I think he was amazing for enduring his illness while keeping his spirit positive. His strength was absolutely AMAZING. As was the love I felt from his friends and family. Once again, my heart and soul goes out to you all and if there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. Just know my life was changed by Stephen.
My heart breaks for Stephen’s family and friends. My deep sympathies to all of you.
I just found out about Stephen… I went to Bella Vista High School with Stephen and had several classes with him. He was such a kind loving sweet person with a great smile. My heart is breaking right now as I read about his life the passed few years. What an amazing story. Such a strong person he was. I feel he is touching my heart right now as I read about is strength through it all. I know one day we will all see his smile again in the presents of our Lord Jesus Christ. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of grieving.
My heart shatters at the thought of losing Stephen. I knew him from the time he spent at Tonto Rim Baptist Camp in Payson, Arizona. He was such a special guy with an amazing musical talent and an even bigger heart for God. I will be praying for the broken hearts of friends and family.
